“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world”  Titus 2:11-12

When you are filled with the loving grace of God, not only do you have peace and joy but there’s also a desire to stay away from sin. Grace produces this desire in us that we may live a righteous and godly life. It teaches us to be sober, to stay away from evil influence and places. By God’s loving grace we are able to deny the pleasures of sin to live righteously for the Lord and not by our own strength.

Without holiness there is no evidence that the grace of God has been bestowed upon you; and If you don’t have the grace of God then how will you enter the kingdom of God beloved? “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14). Jesus came to save us from our sins that we should no longer live in them; that we may through His grace conquer and destroy all sinful strongholds in our lives which are only meant to keep us out of heaven. We are called to be overcome the world and not vise versa.

Do you have the grace of God? Are you seeking Him in prayer? I notice that when I pray at least 30 minuets I am able to take the shield of Faith and prevail against the fiery darts of the wicked. Let no one think they can resist temptation on their own. Only through Jesus Christ, by His Spirit, are we able to endure in this race for eternal life. “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6

To be holy simply means to be set apart for God. We live for God and not for the world. Prayer strengthens us because it connects us with Christ who is the source of our strength. So don’t think you can make it through the day without prayer! Finally brethren, may we all seek God’s presence daily in prayer: Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” Titus 2:13
